Thank you for visiting Laird Brown Photography. I am committed to protecting your privacy and want you to know what information I may have on you and how I use it for marketing.
At networking events I receive business cards from people who express an interest in my services. I follow up with an e-mail or postcard thanking them for their interest and ask that they let me know if they prefer that I not add them to my newsletter e-mail list. I keep information from the business cards, such as name, business name, phone number, e-mail and physical addresses, plus a reminder of how we met, in a database. Some of that information is also stored at MailChimp, which sends my e-mail newsletter.
Additionally, if you honor me by becoming a client or making a referral, I add a notation of that in these databases. I use that information to send “thank you” e-mails or cards from time to time.
Every one of my newsletter e-mails has a link on the bottom where you can unsubscribe from future mailings. You can also unsubscribe at this link. Unsubscribing from e-mail marketing does not remove your information from my database. If you want to be removed permanently from that, please send your request to me at email@example.com.
My Small Business Photo web site uses tracking software, such as Google Analytics and Statcounter, to track which pages visitors view and how long they stay on the site. Cookies are used to tell the tracking software if someone is a returning visitor. This information does not tell me the names of the visitors. My web site also may collect other cookies as part of the normal function of WordPress and its themes, and this information also is not available to me.
My service area is primarily within Arizona, and I do not market to or keep data on people outside the USA.
